Chef Sunun is a native of Bangkok, Thailand who came to the U.S. in the early 2000's. In Bangkok she operated her own street cart for decades serving up classic street food dishes like popular stir-fried noodles and other specialties. When arriving in Charlottesville, VA she worked at various Thai restaurants until 2014 when she wanted to open up her own. It was then when she consulted with her husband Roj Snitrak, and friends Visespong Punyanitya and Jay Pun to open Thai Cuisine & Noodle House in the Stoneridge (formerly Village Green) shopping center.
Chef Sunun specializes in stir-fry wok cooking, curries, as well as Thai noodle soups & Vietnamese pho. Her favorite dishes to make are Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, among many other Thai specialties.
