I enjoy helping others realize & reach their potential through music.
I am a drummer and educator for over 35 years. I teach drum lessons six days a week in the Roanoke and New River Valleys. Presently I am only doing online lessons.
I will also do house calls or church visits to do drum repairs, maintenance and tuning.
I also perform with various bands and play groups around the area.
I also do graphic design work, and math tutoring as well.
I like to make learning fun by using games with my younger students to teach them music skills. I also like to teach my students how to read drum & percussion music, so that they can eventually teach themselves, or at least speak the common language of music with other musicians or music teachers. I tailor the lessons to teach the music that is important to the student. I can help cultivate your music skills as well as getting you playing to your favorite song, or get you ready for that next big audition. I promise I will make it a fun challenge that you can spend time enjoying.

Some Supplies You Might Need
Must have a functional drum set. Good internet connection. And Zoom or some other chat software set up on a laptop or ipad, and a love, desire, and drive to learn some music. I have found that using these apps on your phone does not allow you the same controls over the audio settings and results in me NOT hearing my students drum set during a lesson.
