Food and Community

The Food and Community (F&C) Project brings folks together to celebrate, share and document the rich diversity of foodways throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Through the lens of food, our histories are explored and dialogue is encouraged to discover the intersections between our nourishment and our sense of community.

The F&C Project delves into Virginia’s foodways and shares the experience through the podcast series Virginia Foodways and a series of workshops held in collaboration with community organizations throughout the Commonwealth.
