About Me

I’m Angel Alberto Rodríguez Serrano, a freelance Latin and ballroom dance instructor and entertainer. You might know me as the Salsa Guy of Richmond. I am a proud Puerto Rican (the country of Salsa) raised between the island and New York City with the passion for dancing and instructing. I've been instructing Salsa, Rueda, Folk dances and other Latin dances at various locations in Richmond since 2008.

I have an amazing range of event ideas perfectly suitable for your next corporate event, birthday, retirement party, quinceañera, festival, wedding, or any special occasion. It includes the following performances:

• Group Lessons and Workshops for Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha and Bachata
• Cuban Salsa Rueda de Casino Dance Performances
• Mexican Folk Dances
• Tango Dance Performances
• Puerto Rican Folk Dances
• Live Music Show of Salsa & Folk Dancing

I've performed in New York, concerts and many various venues and festivals in Virginia. My instruction emphasizes how to lead and follow a dance partner and my goal is to give you the self-confidence you need to be able to dance with anyone.

My style of instruction has been described as friendly, entertaining and funny so come and take a lesson and be the judge of that! I'm available for:
